Giving ourselves a break can be difficult. Even though I coach other people on the importance of of holding time and space for themselves, I sometimes struggle to do the same for myself. On the other hand, Lindsay has absolutely no issue with carving out time to fill her cup. So the question is, what stories are you telling yourself in regards to holding time and space for yourself? When you become aware of these stories then you can start focusing on your own needs. Once you take care of those needs, you’ll not only feel better but you’ll start showing up better for other people. Tell me, what are you going to do for yourself this week?
